Your blog and e-Domain is doing Filipinos a great service. Keep it going. One day, when Mindanao become a republic, and you are still there, I will move my government to award you the Distinguished Honor Medal of Penec Sandawa. To me you’re an adopted warrior—a white man with a brown heart for Filipinos. Makes you one with us.

hi there sir bob..
well i just saw the gallery pix when u went here to zam.city… the name of the building or structure you were asking before landing to the zam.city airport is called the CENTRO PASTORAL AND CHANCERY HALL… Owned by the Archdiocese of Zamboanga… Historically, the Archdiocese of Zamboanga is the first in Mindanao region. Well, hope we can meet some other time when you come and visit Zamboanga, again…
i’ll take you to a tour here… Like the famous Pasonanca Park… the new Katribo Complex (the newest hangout venue…) the newly-opened Southway Mall… and of course, my school, the Ateneo…
Well, hope i could go to davao too, soon! hehe ;p tc! =p
Hi Marlowe – Thanks for sharing your knowledge about Zamboanga City. I did find that building to be intriguing. The design is certainly unique!

hi bob,
there are three wifi hotspots (as far as i know) in tagum city. they are:
1. miko’s brew – apokon road
2. jollibee – highway crossing
3. chowking – highway crossing
thanks!
God bless you.
Hi Bob. Thanks for the WiFi list.
Feedback on Zamboanga WiFi hotspots:
– CoffeeBook.com is no longer operating.
– Jollibee Camins operates a managed WiFi and is open 24/7. Ask their staff for the password.
– Myrna’s Bakehouse at Pasonanca does have WiFi but you may have to ask them to turn it on since they don’t see to keep it up all the time. (P.S. I won’t recommend their coffee beverages or food – bleach! I ordered for a slice of blackforest cake and they served something that neither resembles one nor taste near anything like it.
NEW Asia’s Latin City wi-fi hubs:
1) Cafe Aroma (Alejandra’s Complex)
&
2) Chopstix = (Alejandra’s Complex)
Tnx!
Hi Marolowe – Got them! Thanks much, my friend!
sir bob, it should be Alejandra’s, not -ro’s… =) tnx!
oh, and the Cafe Locco it is not Jaldan, instead, it should be Jaldon St.
Thanks for the updates, Marlowe! They are always appreciated.
another at Zambo:
Mr.Bean Coffee Shop (Katribo Complex)
Hi marlowe – Thanks again for the update! They are greatly appreciated!
can you please include the wifi provider. quality of their service depends on what wifi provider
Hi ella – No, I don’t think I would do that. After all, stopping for a cup of coffee and discovering that they have wifi does not tell you who the provider is. Most clerks in such places don’t know either. I think that the list is fine as is. Thanks for your suggestion, though.
Oh, by the way, if you wish to provide a listing of who the providers are in each location, I will be happy to publish it, though.

our speech professor accessed a wi-fi connection in Law Building, College of Law of Western Mindanao State University. i think they are still negotiating and looking for a place where they could place the hot spot accessible for everyone. =)

Ooopps sorry, I didn’t realize you were listing Mindanao wifi hotspots. My bad.
hello Bob!
well, good news! this is kinda weird but its true and ive tried it!
if you are a Western Mindanao State University Main WMSU student and a wi fi freak, try to surf and hang out at Education Building, the spot where the unfinished structure canopy is, has a Wi fi or a hotspot under the name of Dennis(CSB) and is open to public!
i tried it Bob and its great!kinda fast. i was trying it along with other students who brought their laptops with them.
when you find a network, dont be shocked if you will see Ian668 and BC 002 because these were the prior wi fi connection i identified at College of Law Building and Admissions Building
but too bad they were not for public or student use.
so Bob, you can now add in the list
Western Mindanao State University
