Farah Pandith (far left), U.S. State Department Special Representative to Muslim Communities, listens as Jamairah Macabanding (far right) describes the knowledge of national policy formulation she gained as a participant in the Congressional Internship Program for Young Muslim Leaders (CIPYML), a partnership project of the Philippines’ House of Representatives and USAID’s Growth with Equity in Mindanao (GEM) Program. With them is USAID Economic Growth Advisor Robert Barnes.
