17th Foundation Anniversary

ALABEL, Sarangani (November 30, 2009) – Vice Governor Steve Chiongbian Solons opens the 7th MunaTo Festival and 17th foundation anniversary of the Province of Sarangani with this year’s theme “Pride of Sarangani: History, Culture, Resources”. MunaTo refers to the first people of Sarangani which is the lumad (indigenous people) and associated with the 2,000-year old anthropomorphic (man-shaped) burial jars of Maitum.
