Students of Lun Padidu National High School in Malapatan, Sarangani, study globes provided to their school through collaboration between their parent-teacher association and USAID’s Growth with Equity in Mindanao (GEM) Program. Under the oversight of the Mindanao Economic Development Council, the GEM Program matches the funds raised by PTAs to implement specific education improvements in their schools, such as establishing or improving mini libraries, science and computer laboratories, and multi-media centers.
