PNP, Traffic Police All Set for Opening of Classes

Butuan – Butuan City Police Office and the Land Transportation Traffic Management Office assured the public of an orderly and peaceful traffic scenario on Monday, as public schools start its first day of classes in all levels.

City Police Director Joseph Plaza urged policemen to be on alert against theft and map out plan for the implementation of intensifying police visibility program deploying bulk of its manpower in elementary and high school premises.

Meanwhile, Police regional Director Jaime Milla said they are coordinating with the Department of Education to secure school premises.

City and provincial command were also directed to coordinate with their respective traffic aides or tanods to address traffic concerns.
