Turtles

Here are a couple of Mindanao born and raised turtles that can be found in our backyard. When we bought these, they were about 1″ across, now they are like 8″!

Swimming pool at Marco Polo Hotel

This is the swimming pool at Marco Polo Hotel in Davao. The pool is located on the 4th floor of the hotel. It’s beautiful, in my opinion it’s the best pool in the City! Give it a try. If you see me there, be sure to say hi! I am there very often!

A Pig Kissin’ good time!

A while back when we got a visit from my friend Michel, from Canada, we went out for a dinner of Lechon de Leche. When they brought the pig to the table, I am still not quite sure if Michel thought the pig would taste good, or if it was a genuine affection for the animal, but Michel went in for a quick kiss before we feasted! Sorry, Michel, I could not resist eating the pig, I hope you were not feeling love-lost!

Caraga cops unearthed explosives, firearms, ammunitions in Agusan town

BUTUAN CITY- A call from a concerned citizen to local police office in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur lead to the discovery of explosives, firearms and ammunitions buried in Barangay San Isidro in the capital town of Agusan del Sur.

The concerned citizen who claimed they unearthed explosives, firearms and ammunitions after digging a hole at Purok 4, Barangay San Isidro in San Francisco town accompanied the cops in the area Friday morning. Read more
