I was raised Catholic myself and didn't know of either day. Good Friday is known in the States, although I don't think it is recognized as much as it was when I was a kid. Apo during Holy Week. Those were the days. Don't know if I have the endurance to do it again. But thanks for the blog, somehow it's good to know that the practice of observing Holy Week is still there.
