rice field in M’lang, North Cotabato
Just on the north side of M’lang, North Cotabato I came upon this beautiful rice field and wanted to shoot a photo.  I didn’t realize that this area of North Cotabato was such a strong rice producer, but the rice fields just go on for miles and miles when passing through this area.

Who said that you can be called poor…obviously you haven’t been to the Cotabato area…as Bob said you see miles and miles of rice fields which mean they are the source of income…and we export them…

Hi lac and Melba – remember though…. these rice fields are owned by the people who have the land, which is a tiny fraction of the people. The people who work these fields have little.

The people who are having this kind of livelihood are considered heroes of the Philippines. Filipino people are majority eating rice everyday 3x a day. I would say these farmers are heroes of the Philippines!
